Launch of the TARMAC Legacy collection at the Paris Air Show

The 55th Paris Air Show in June 2025 was the 5th edition for TARMAC Aerosave. It was during this major event for our industry that the TARMAC Legacy brand was unveiled at an evening event at the chalet attended by customers and journalists.

After the brand reveal film, it was unveiled in more detail.

  • ‘TARMAC’ remains in capital letters, in line with the original acronym meaning Tarbes Advanced Recycling and Maintenance Aircraft Company, and in the historic blue colour.
  • ‘Legacy’ supports this founding block, in a ‘signature’ font, that of TARMAC Aerosave, and in the green colour associated with the recycling industry.

TARMAC Legacy reflects, through each item in the collection, the excellence, high precision and avant-garde spirit of TARMAC. And our renewed commitment to giving aircraft a second life.

During the evening, the very first pieces, prepared in the utmost secrecy in Tarbes, were presented: a pair of wall lights created from cabin lamps, a backlit window frame, a window clock and a jump seat. The centrepiece was the final surprise: a wooden desk – made by our in-house carpentry workshop, which manufactures our shipping crates – and aeronautical metal alloy. It is equipped with galley cabinets repurposed as storage units and desk lamps made from connecting rods.

We then detailed everything that makes TARMAC Legacy unique. The collection of items made from non-airworthy aircraft parts is created directly from aircraft dismantled at our sites. These creations draw on our recognised expertise in the removal and storage of sensitive parts.

The experience of our ‘greening specialists’, who restore the cabin of end-of-life aircraft to the green colour it had when it left the assembly line, inspires the creation of items for sale. The parts are selected at the very heart of the site, famous throughout the world as a ‘gold mine’ for aircraft parts.

TARMAC Legacy is more than a brand, it is a dedicated service, consisting of a project manager, a mechanic and an in-house sourcing and design team, available to study requests from individuals and professionals and offer them tailor-made parts.

The standard collection is available for sale online and is expanded as recycling projects progress. From searching for the part on site to its delivery and transformation, TARMAC Aerosave integrates the entire creation chain, without going through an external designer.

After a cocktail reception with Occitan accents, a press release was issued.
