From the outset, the TARMAC Legacy project planned to collaborate with artists, craftspeople and aeronautical apprentices from the Hautes-Pyrénées region.
TARMAC Aerosave is also a partner of the HaPy industrial academy, a community-based production school based in Tarbes that offers free training through apprenticeships. Skills such as metalworking, welding and materials processing are taught, particularly through orders from companies.
In September 2025, a new training course leading to a Part 66 licence will be launched specifically to meet TARMAC Aerosave’s needs for mechanics, in partnership with the UIMM.
HaPy students are involved in the creation of items for the TARMAC Legacy collection. This is a great way to motivate young people in search of meaning and to enhance their initial learning experience.
